Attractive and well made but it is too short to accomodate a unused american quarter pound butter stick. If this was included in the item description, I missed it.

I love the clean and modern design to fit European butter. I was looking for a glass/porcelain butter storage for a while but I could not find one I like. I thought I had to settle with the big glass container with cow print...which is cute but I wanted something different.
Then I found this Blomus dish at Amazon - I'm glad I found it!
The black edging is made with rubber to secure the lid and gives air tight fit to keep the butter fresh.
This is perfect for my contemporary kitchen!
