These magnets have a simple elegance about them. The brushed steel looks classy without distracting at all from the picture or paper it is holding up. They are strong enough to hold your several papers but not the annoying kind of strong where you have to drag them to the edge of the fridge or magnet board to get them to come off. For a nice clean look, I highly recommend these magnets.

These are great for pinning our kids' artwork onto the fridge. I can stack 2 or 3 (maybe more?) pages on top of each other to save space. The kids love seeing their creations in the center of the kitchen.

2.0 out of 5 stars Magnet Not Stainless Steel, January 24, 2012

This review is from: Blomus 2-1/2cm Metal Magnets, Set of 6 (Kitchen)
The description is deceptive, since the magnet itself is NOT stainless steel. I bought this product for my son's science fair project, which requires him to hammer a steel magnet to see the effect on its magnetism. Turns out that these magnets are made of some brittle substance with a stainless steel covering, so the magnet shattered upon impact. (This experiment requires applying physical shock to the magnet itself, not the covering). This was a waste of my money. The magnet is of the typical refrigerator magnet strength, i.e. it can hold two paper clips in a chain. Go elsewhere for science project magnets!
